The Jennifer Aniston Diet – Eating To Maintain A Sexy Body

Jennifer Aniston, best known for her role as Rachel Green in the hit TV show Friends is one of Hollywood’s most recognized actresses and she also happens to be one of the sexiest stars alive.

Even at the age of 42, she has a body that most 20 year olds would kill for. She is an amazing role model for women who want to look amazing after they turn 40 years old.

So how does Jennifer Aniston eat to maintain her curvy and flawless physique? Read on to find out about Jennifer Aniston’s diet history.

A history of the many Jennifer Aniston diet plans

Over the years, Jennifer Aniston has tried many diet plans, so it would be hard for to just talk about one of them. Below are all of the dieting techniques(or at least the ones I could find) she used over the years to stay lean and sexy.

Lunch on Friends

According to the LA Times, Jennifer Aniston would eat the exact same salad every single day for lunch with her costars Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. “We always had the same thing – a Cobb salad” says Cox.

To keep things interesting and tasty, Jennifer would add toppings such as bacon and garbanzo beans to the salad.

I don’t know about you, but eating the same damn salad every day for 10 years is a bit boring. I’m not sure why Jennifer decided to eat this way. She could have eaten a much more varied diet while still looking sexy.

The Zone Diet

Jennifer has been linked to using the Zone Diet as well. This popular diet consists of a 40:30:30 ratio of carbs, fat, and protein. The Zone Diet works because it supposebly reverses inflammation.

With the Zone diet, your carbs will from sources like whole grain breads and pasta. Your fat will come from olive oil and other healthy oils, while your protein will come from foods like fish and egg whites.

Before Jennifer hired professional chefs Jewels and Jill Elmore, she was eating a diet that consisted of protein bars, white bread, and slices of cheese. She didn’t really have any idea on how to prepare tasty and delicious meals, and was quoted as saying that mayonnaise on white bread was “the most delicious thing in the world.”

Luckily, Jennifer hired the Elmore sisters to fix her problem. In the book The Family Chef, Jill has stated that Jennifer is now eating more fruits and veggies and is now enjoying dishes like chilled cucumber soup and zesty lemon salmon.

To prepare for Just Go With It

In an interview with OK! magazine, Jennifer stated that she consumed a super low calorie raw food diet to get into bikini shape for the Adam Sandler movie Just Go With It.

According to OK!, a typical day in Jennifer’s diet would look something like this:

- Breakfast would consist of a fruit smoothie made of watermelon cubes and almond milk.

- Lunch would be a soup pureed with spinach and arugula

- Dinner would be a super light salad with tomatoes and white onions. The dressing would be made of garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and sea salt.

I’m not a huge fan of raw diet plans, but they can be super useful for shedding those last few pounds, and that’s what Jennifer did to get ridiculously sexy in Just Go With It.

Should you eat like Jennifer Aniston?

As you can see, there really is no single Jennifer Aniston diet since her eating habits are constantly changing.

The important thing to remember is that she’s trying her best to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. If you want to have a sexy body like Jennifer, then you need find out what works for you. I’m not going to tell you that you have to follow the Zone Diet or that you have to eat raw foods. You can if you want to, but you have to find out what works for you.

Another thing I want to mention is that you should NEVER deprive yourself of your favorite foods. Jennifer has stated that she LOVES Mexican and fried food, so every once in a while she’ll let herself induldge with no guilt.

If you want to succeed on a diet, then you need to let yourself have your favorite foods every once in a while. A great to do this is with Cheat Your Way Thin, a diet plan that lets you eat your favorite cheat foods and still burn crazy amounts of fat.
