The Australian born model has risen in fame over the past couple of years, being constantly voted as the sexiest and most beautiful women out there by various magazines. Over the past couple of years, Miranda has really risen in fame.

Miranda Kerr Diet – what you need to know
1) She eats right for her blood type
Miranda has stated that she follows the blood type diet, which is where she only eats specific foods that were “designed” for her blood type. And because Miranda is blood type A, she follows doesn’t eat a lot of animal meat. Blood type A diets allow for foods like salmon, coffee, berries, sprouted breads, and flaxseed.
2) She eats a lot of raw and organic fruits and vegetables
According to femalefirst.co.uk, Miranda tries to eat organically grown food whenever possible. “My grandparents had a vegetable patch and taught me a lot about growing food and eating organically.” says Miranda.
Miranda has also been known for drinking raw fruits and vegetables.
Everyone can benefit from eating raw organic foods. They contain more nutrients and can help you digest your food better, plus they contain a lot of vitamins and minerals to boost your immune system.
3) She will give into her cravings
As a Nichiren Buddhist, Miranda believes that life is all about balance. This means that she won’t deny herself of her favorite foods if she’s really craving it.
This is also similar to the Alessandra Ambrosio diet where the fellow Victoria’s Secret model doesn’t believe in depriving herself of any foods she may be craving. I guess all Victoria’s Secret models think alike, huh?
4) She drinks a lot of water
This is a no brainer, but Miranda has admitted to drinking a lot of water to keep herself hydrated throughout the day. She aims for 1.5 – 2 liters of water per day.
What would a sample meal plan look like?
Now that you know the basics of Miranda Kerr’s diet, how would a day of eating in the life of Miranda look like? Well according to Vogue Australia, her diet would look something like this:
- Green tea
- water with ginger/lemon
- Toast with avocado and egg
- Fresh fruit salad
Snack after breakfast
- Assorted nuts
- Green tea
- Tuna salad w/ side of bread
- Green Tea
- Grilled salmon with fresh veggies and a side salad
- Roasted pumpkin
- Piece of fruit and some tea
Is Miranda’s diet right for you?
Surprisingly, I actually like Miranda’s diet, except for the whole blood type aspect of it since there’s really no scientific evidence to support the whole “eat for your blood type” claim.
But other than that, I think Miranda has a very healthy diet and lifestyle. As long as you stick mostly with whole fresh foods and don’t constantly deprive yourself of your favorite foods, then you should be good to go.
